We are seeking a Bladder and Bowel Nurse Specialist to join our team supporting caseloads across the South East with this unique and rewarding opportunity to deliver expert patient care, empower patients and shape the future of continence services.
This rewarding role will enable the post holder to grow and enhance Community skills within a Specialist area alongside the wider MDT in both clinic settings and visiting patients in their homes.
You will be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programmes for individuals, alongside teaching and supporting both staff and carers.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for conducting clinics, managing a caseload of patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction, and carrying out domiciliary visits. This will include assessing and supporting patients to optimise their quality of life living with a bladder and/or bowel condition, carrying out holistic continence assessments, and advising on self-management programmes and management options.
We also provide ongoing education programmes and support to other healthcare professionals/workers and promote excellence in continence nursing care.
You will need to able to drive with a full UK licence due to the geographic area covered by the team.
