Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Worker for our Community Dietetic Service covering High Weald, Lewes & Havens.
The post holder will work under the supervision of a qualified Dietitian providing clinical assessments and treatments; and will demonstrate observation skills and the ability to report back to qualified staff on patient behaviours in relation to oral nutrition and home enteral feeding.
If you have previous caring experience and can evidence that you're caring, compassionate, motivated, enjoy working as part of a team and have a desire to work in nutrition, then we would welcome a discussion with you.
Main duties of the job
The position will be based primarily at Uckfield Community Hospital. However, the post holder will be required to travel across High Weald, Lewes & Havens for home visits and other Trust sites. Therefore, a full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle will be essential.
The post holder will work under the supervision of a qualified Dietitian providing clinical assessments and treatments; and administrative tasks to support patient care, clinical governance and clinical processes.
