Are you the friendly face and organized professional we're looking for? Our Urgent Treatment Centre at Crawley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm demeanour, and a passion for helping others.
The successful candidate will be working variable hours between 7:15am - 10:30pm Monday to Sunday on reception in our Urgent Treatment centre (UTC) to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all units through the co-ordination and provision of high standards of reception and clerical services.
Main duties of the job
- Receives Patients and visitors to the service. Responds to queries and requests for information as directed by office procedures, guidelines and protocols. Refers complex or unusual requests to the Team Administrator or a member of the clinical team.
- Regularly checks on the tidiness and cleanliness of the office environment and takes action to ensure any problems are resolved.
- Undertakes admin tasks that are assigned.
- Attends team meetings within the service
- Formats letters, reports where necessary
- Carries out photocopying.
- Ensures incoming or outgoing post is processed promptly
