Job summary
As maintenance specialist, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of building maintenance, engineering infrastructure and systems and equipment. This will include the guidance and support to Estates operatives to ensure compliance with legislation, local policy and best practice. The post holder will also be responsible for managing the upkeep of the Estates Grounds and Gardens
The post holder will be accountable to the Estates Engineering Manager, for areas of responsibility including Lifting Equipment Regulations, Legionella and Water Systems, Low Voltage Electrical Safety, Medical Gases and Critical Ventilation, assuming the responsibilities of the authorised person's roles.
There will be an ongoing clear focus upon balancing the planned maintenance activities with the responsive repairs service. The post holder will deputise for the Estates Engineering Manager.

- Formal qualification andEastwood Park (or alternative) Training in -Ventilation and Air Conditioning -Boiler House Practices -Lift Safety -LV AP -BMS systems -Portable Appliance Testing -Water Hygiene -Electrical Test and Inspection BS2391 or equivalent - Hydro/Therapy Pool Management / or substantial working knowledge of ACAD
