Main duties of the job
This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapist and we welcome applications from candidates who are close to graduation or awaiting confirmation of HCPC registration post-graduation, in addition to those with some previous Band 5 experience.
You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.
Specialities available on this rotation include:

Musculoskeletal Outpatients

Intermediate Care Units- Inpatient Rehabilitation

Paediatrics- Community and/or MSK

Neurological Inpatient Rehabilitation (Stroke)

Community Therapy Team (You will need to be able to drive with a full UK licence for home visits)
Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week- primarily arranged according to service requirements, which may require a degree of flexibility depending on the service. Hours will primarily be within 07:30 and 20:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements over the 7 days of the week. SCFT remains committed to flexible working policies and aims to help individuals achieve a strong work/life balance.
