Job summary
Due to some career progressions in the service, the Children's Speech and Language Therapy team in Central have some exciting opportunities within our special school, mainstream and pre school complex needs (pscn) services. We are looking for therapists to join these three teams to work in our brand new Child Development Centre in Crawley, our Special School in Crawley and the mainstream schools in a similar area. We are looking for current B6 or B5 with at least 2 years experience who are looking to develop their skills in these areas. PSCN and Special Schools can support development of skills in AAC/Eating and Drinking and Interventions to support Neuro diverse children. Our Mainstream service can support you to develop a wide range of skills to manage very diverse needs within schools but with more emphasis on language and speech difficulties.
The Central team consists of 45+ staff working in different clinical areas. The team are approachable and keen to support each other, B7 clinical leads provide supervision with additional support for staff from Band 7s Leads in SSCs, EYS, Deafness and our Neurodevelopmental Pathway for clinical advice and second opinions.
