Location: Crawley HospitalHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role: Based at Crawley Hospital, with occasional requirements at Horsham Hospital, you'll be an integral part of a team that's committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You'll assist in timely assessments and rehabilitation, working with patients who truly need your support.

  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals who require care or rehabilitation due to their illness or disability.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work across sites and, in the future, to support a 7-day service. A full driving licence and access to a car are desirable.

As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to receive support from other therapy colleagues, receive clinical supervision from registered therapists, participate in the in-service learning programme, develop your practice relevant to the team, participate in competency development with the team and more formally complete the Therapy Assistant Foundation Training. You will assist in supporting service development and shaping the future clinical practice of the therapy team.

We are looking for someone who likes working with people and is reliable, flexible and adaptable in their work. Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or similar is desirable, and applicants should have experience of delivering care and/or rehabilitation to older people with various needs.
