Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated clinical psychologist to be an integral member of our dynamic Community Neuro Rehab team covering the Worthing, Shoreham, Lancing, Littlehampton and Chanctonbury areas.
The role is based either in Worthing. Sessions can be delivered through a combination of face-to-face, telephone and video consultations, as clinically appropriate.
The patient caseload will consist primarily of patients with long term neurological conditions.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties
- To provide expert clinical psychology to patients with acquired and long term neurological conditions
- To support the psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions provided by other clinical members of the service who provide psychologically-based care and treatments.
- To offer specialist advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to non-professional carer
- To provide consultation, training, and support to the team and to other professionals working with people with neurological conditions, and to mainstream mental health teams.

- oA Post graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS, including models of psycho-pathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan development psychology.
- oHCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- oCurrent practising certificate.

- oAssessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist at a specialist level within neuropsychology.
