Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Driver to support the Logistics teams at Brighton General Hospital.
The post-holder will drive a variety of vehicles to provide courier and other transport services.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality, safe and efficient transport service.
To undertake driving tasks including courier services, removals and vehicle deliveries.
The job involves manual handling and the post-holder will need to support post-room activities including sorting mail en route.

To undertake a driver role within the Transport team, performing driving and related duties on behalf of SCFT and partner organisations across Sussex.
To comply with all statutory and mandatory requirements including Trust internal training along with road traffic legislation; loading and handling regulations; and waste carriage/ management.
To participate in and promote partnership working throughout the Logistics service, across the Trust and with commercial partners.
