An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly, established nursing and medical team within the minor injures unit Horsham
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Minor injuries unit, you will work with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the effective and safe delivery of care under the guidance, instruction and supervision of the EmergencyNurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses. You will ensure the highest possible standards of care are received by patients and their carers while in the unit.
You don't need previous experience; we'll train you on the job, supporting you to be the best that you can be. Your training as a Healthcare Assistant will include basic nursing and therapy skills and we'll support you to achieve achieving the Care Certificate.
With experience and further training, you could further your career in health care opening opportunities to train as anAssistant PractitionerorNursing Associate. With the appropriate qualifications and experience,you could also go on to train as one of the many degree-level healthcare professionals such as a Nurse, Podiatrist, Midwife or Therapist.
