Job summary

We are looking for a proactive, adaptable and talented Admin Team Leader to provide day-to-day line management and professional supervision of a busy team of receptionists, administrative staff and volunteers based at the Sussex Rehabilitation Centre (SRC), Brighton General Hospital.

The successful candidate will be an experienced team leader and/or admin supervisor, have excellent communication skills and experience of developing and implementing new administration and service procedures.

Main duties of the job

To provide day-to-day line management and professional supervision of a busy team of receptionists, administrative staff and volunteers based at the Sussex Rehabilitation Centre (SRC), Brighton General Hospital.

To manage the day-to-day operations of the SRC Snack Bar - which is staffed by a team of Trust volunteers.

To actively support administration and reception staff with operational management, problem solving and implementing solutions.

To develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures and administrative processes as required to underpin Trust policies.

To lead on the reporting and resolution of all SRC estate and facility issues minimizing the impact to service delivery.

To effectively manage the collation and upload of all SRC-related risk assessments to the Trust's new Health & Safety Online Portal.

To co-ordinate meetings, conferences and engagement events involving internal and external stakeholders and members of the public.
