Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great procurement team as a non clinical Buyer. We are looking for committed and reliable candidates who wish to work with us in a busy procurement office on exciting procurement projects in Brighton to achieve efficiencies and cost savings for our services in Estates and IT. Strong communication skills and supplier relationship building are desirable, full training will be given. We also have opportunities on CIPS studies and apprenticeships available for the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate is required to be flexible, work on their own and as part of the team ensuring orders are placed within a timely manner, providing excellent customer service to our front line services and dealing with a number of enquiries.
The creation of official purchase orders from electronic requisitions within Oracle, for goods and services to be ordered direct from suppliers on behalf of the Trust.
