Job summary

The Community HIV Specialist Service is looking to recruit a motivated Community HIV Specialist Nurse. You will work in the Coastal team and be based in Brighton. There will be times where you will be expected to cover across the three teams. We are looking for a compassionate and hard working nurse who is passionate about delivering high quality care to stigmatized groups and complex patients in the community, and who has a special interest in the field of HIV. Working in the field of HIV is desirable however it is not essential.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a friendly multidisciplinary service and will be based at Morley Street in Brighton, working closely with the local HIV acute centers. As a community service we work closely with the voluntary sector and mental health professionals, and as part of a wider service we provide advice and support to Primary Care teams, GPs, service users and other agencies.
