Job summary
The Wheelchair & Seating Service offers a comprehensive service to people of all ages living with long term mobility problems. Bognor wheelchair team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated clinician (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse) to lead their established team. The postholder will have knowledge and experience in wheelchair assessment and provision together with a proven track record in management and excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Some of your main duties will include
Be responsible for wheelchair / specialist seating assessments andprescription for clients with complex health and social care needs.
- Provide leadership, supervision and professional consultation, guidance and advice to the wheelchair team.
- Provide specialist advice to clients, carers and other health and social careprofessionals.
- Manage the department operationally and undertake delegated budgetmanagement in conjunction with the clinical services manager.
- Facilitate in the development of the wheelchair service.
