Job summary

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse, Level 3 or above, to work within our team at Butterfly Nursery, Hove.

The role will involve working in a team to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework to the highest standards, working in partnership with parents, and safeguarding our children at all times.

We have 3 Ofsted-inspected nurseries in Brighton, Hove and Crawley. We pride ourselves in offering first class, quality childcare for children aged 0-5 years. They are primarily for parents/carers who are employed by the NHS, but we have community places available for children from the local area too, whose parents/carers do not work for our NHS Trusts.

We work in partnership with our NHS Trust to improve recruitment and retention, and their staff's work/life balance, helping them to return to work.

Main duties of the job

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust has 3 workplace nurseries thatprovided full and part time day care for pre-school children.

We deliver high quality compassionate care, within the nursery setting for the pre-school children of NHS parents, and some pre-school children from the local community.

Working with a multi-disciplinary team to support children towardstheir Early learning goals. Working in Partnership with parents, carers, staffand outside agencies to provide as much flexibility as possible.This includes assisting in the on-going assessment and provision of child care.
