This post is fixed term for 12 months due to - meet the needs of the service
The post-holder will join an enthusiastic and thriving clinical service and the role will provide opportunities to further develop expertise and knowledge in the management of Cancer referrals with opportunity to develop a cancer site interest.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The role will suit a GP with a keen interest in gaining further experience in the field of oncology through attendance at the outpatient clinic/s and managing patients on treatment in a number of cancer sites.
You will be part of a Specialist team providing care using a well-established multi-disciplinary team. The service works closely with local partners ensuring services are offered at appropriate locations, in line with best practice standards of care. All outpatients are provided at VCC, with a number also delivered at other local health board (LHB) locations in south-east Wales
