Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the South East Wales Acute Oncology Services (AOS) for a friendly, organised individual with administrative experience. This is a front facing operational role, which will support patients and clinical staff, whilst also providing support to the Programme team. The post holder will work collaboratively with teams across South-East Wales to ensure a smooth pathway for patients presenting with an oncological emergency.
This is a Fixed term /Secondment for 23 months to cover needs of the Service.

Main duties of the job
Using their administrative experience the post holder will provide efficient and effective daily administrative and organisational support for the AOS and CUP services. This will include recording accurate summaries of confidential clinical meetings in live time, communicating with clinical teams and patients, collating and inputting data. The hours of the role are Monday to Wednesday to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
