Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced admin assistant/medical secretary to provide high quality administrative and secretarial support to the palliative medicine team in Velindre Cancer Centre.
The role is to provide a full administrative and comprehensive secretarial service to the Consultants and their teams.
The postholder will act as a point of contact with all medical staff, patients, relatives, GPs, and any support services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will administer and arrange Consultants and non-consultant grade doctors' schedules which can include arranging clinic appointments, arranging meetings and managing diaries, and involvement in study leave, recruitment administration, ESR etc. Including administrative duties for the CNS team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
