Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Programme Management Office in Velindre Cancer Centre (VCC), for a Project Manager on a 6 month secondment/fixed term contract.

We are looking for a motivated, organised, enthusiastic, and experienced Project Manager who understands the challenges of delivering something new and want to use their skills to support and enable the delivery of clinical and operational projects, as outlined in the VCC IMTP.

Please note that this is a fixed term/secondment post from the 1st of April 2024 until the 30th of September, due to funding.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across our organisation, managing key projects from inception to conclusion. The applicant should hold a Project Management qualification and have experience of managing multiple projects within a programme portfolio. The will have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and be able to use this skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, organise events or workshops, and ensure initiation and delivery of multiple projects successfully.
