Job summary
Mae'r swydd hon am gyfnod penodol am 2 flynedd oherwydd cwrdd gofynion y gwasanaeth.
To further develop and deliver a highly specialised clinical psychology service to staff at all levels and teams within the organisation. To provide specialised psychological assessment, formulation and intervention to individual staff member when required and teams. To provide specialised systemic assessment and intervention to staff teams and groups when needed and when appropriate to provide psychologically informed input on a wider level to the organisation.
To work in association with the workforce and organisational development team to align with current employee health and wellbeing initiatives. To help and support human resources and workforce colleagues regarding employee related issues when psychologically informed ways of working are helpful. Cases of long term sickness, complaint and investigation processes and conflict or interpersonal challenges within staff groups.
To utilise highly specialised research skills for audit, policy, service development and research.
To work autonomously in accordance with the British Psychological Society (BPS) Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles & Guidelines, and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards.
Main duties of the job
Within the clinical psychology and counselling service at Velindre Cancer Centre to hold designated responsibility for designing and providing a clinical psychology service to staff and teams within the organisation in order to ensure the delivery of a high quality service.
To design and provide clinically relevant teaching and training to staff and teams, to provide clinical supervision, reflective practice, clinical consultation and to provide aspects of employee emotional wellbeing.
To provide highly specialist advice and consultancy on employee psychological wellbeing and mental health issues within the organisation.
To provide clinical and managerial supervision to designated clinical psychology colleagues when required and to help provide clinical placements and supervision for Doctoral level Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
