Job summary
The Velindre Digital Fundraiser will be a key member of the Velindre Fundraising Team responsible for organising and delivering the overall aims and objectives of the Fundraising Department, increasing donations and support through digital channels and main events.
This role will directly assist the Fundraising Officers to provide comprehensive promotional plans, effective artwork elements and well executed campaigns to boost recruitment, increase awareness and vital funds that will work alongside to aid their practical event.
The post holder will be responsible for the Charity's online presence including promotion, content, tone and messaging. The role will provide support with the creation and assembly of materials for engagement and promotional events digitally and on paper.
The post holder will have confidence and knowledge when dealing with all aspects of social media promotion and will produce plans to promote and recruit for Velindre hosted events whilst using supporter-generated content to further aid Charity income. This post-holder will update Charity accounts including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram as well as working with additional media partners to further promote.
Main duties of the job
The Fundraiser will produce and be responsible for income & expenditure budgets for each of their allocated activities/campaigns, producing plans and proposals for each, and following each activity with a review to highlight potential improvements for future events. This will be delivered in line with the overall Charity strategy, developing and managing new fundraising initiatives.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Previous experience of managing fundraising events and digital campaigns

- Willing to undertake training to level 6 Diploma in digital marketing training.
