Community Team Manager - Band 7

Malmesbury Community Team

30 hours per week - permanent

The North Community Management Team in Wiltshire is looking to recruit a Community Team Manager to provide clinical and operational management to the Malmesbury Community Team. The post will work alongside three existing Community Team Managers who cover the neighbouring teams.

The position is based at Malmesbury Health Centre in Malmesbury. Your leadership team would be made up of the Community Team Manager, and two Clinical Leads (Therapy and Nursing). The wider teams include Nurses, Physio and Occupational Therapists, Healthcare Support Workers, Care Coordinators, Rehabilitation Support Workers, and Administrators.

You will provide operational management to Community Team. This will include:

Line Management Supervision

Annual Appraisals

Monitoring of wait times and performance measures.

Attend internal and external meetings as required including Multi-disciplinary Team.

Undertake Audits

Recruitment and Retention

Ensure systems are in place to allocate caseloads etc.

Follow relevant policies and procedures.

Budget Management

Support short term projects.

Cascade of information from Senior meetings and to working groups and oversight groups

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who will be visible, motivational, and inspirational with leadership and managerial experience.

You must be a team player, be an excellent communicator and negotiator, to be able to work under pressure and to be able to engage with the team to support day to day operations and support change.
