The starting salary for a Band 3 is £22,816. This is £11.67 per hour before deductions. Working unsocial hours pays an additional 60% on Bank Holidays and Sundays, and an additional 30% at other times. You will be able to join the NHS pension scheme, have access to a wide range of NHS discount offers, plus a generous annual leave allowance. Parking on our sites is free.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the therapy team you will be an integral part of the wider community team. Our community teams support patients with a range of health needs. We support long term care needs, urgent care, and NHS @ home (virtual wards).
WHC is well known as an employer who develops its staff. All band 3 staff are supported to complete the Care Certificate. This national award is transferrable to any healthcare setting. We also support Band 3 staff to complete their Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
Community staff are required to drive. For those using their own car at work the petrol allowance is claimed per mile however you may wish to use the teams pool car at no additional cost to yourself.
