Based at Trowbridge Minor Injury Unit (MIU)
Our MIU units are located in Chippenham and Trowbridge and are open for walk in patients and for patients who have contacted NHS 111 and have been advised to attend.
The current operating hours for Trowbridge are:
08:30 16:30, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
We are looking to fill a number of part-time hours in order to ensure that the unit has an Administrator / Receptionist during all hours of operation. Shifts will be allocated across the team on a rota basis.
Our Administrator / Receptionist team provides a focal point for receiving patients, relatives and carers who are looking to book in for MIU or are attending outpatient appointments. You will also deal with a varied range of enquiries about services provided across the hospital.
We are looking for individuals with good administration experience, strong communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients.

Main duties of the job
To be eligible for this post applicants will need to have a good general education as well as excellent customer service and IT skills.
We are a busy, friendly team, who would welcome the opportunity to work with new members of staff willing to contribute to the on-going development of the services we provide.
Experience of working with patients and healthcare professionals would be an advantage.
