Community Services Manager - Band 8A
North Wiltshire localities
37.5 Hours per week - Permanent
We are seeking a forward-thinking clinician and ambitious leader to work with our Community Teams as a Community Services Manager (CSM) for the North locality.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time CSM for our North locality Band 8a to work alongside CSMs in South and West and Service Leads for Continence, Tissue Viability and Learning Disabilities, forming part of the Wiltshire Health and Care Senior Operational Team under the Head of Operations (HOO) for Core Community Teams.
Our Community teams are multi-professional and work with partners to promote independence and provide seamless care across various pathways, whilst forging close links with other local communities.
The base for this position can be determined within the North of the locality.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the teams in the North locality (Chippenham, Calne Corsham Box (CCB), Malmesbury and Marlborough), offering line management support and guidance to the Team Leaders in each of these teams and striving to deliver great care, putting patients first. By providing exemplary leadership you will ensure national and local targets are achieved and that they meet the needs of the local community. You will also be an important player in the collaboration between WHC, The Acute Partners, Primary care and the ICB.
Working in partnership with the HOO, CSM colleagues and Team Leaders to embed improvement processes and financial accountability will be a significant component of this role and you will be working closely with colleagues from our internal quality, HR and finance teams.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
