Are you a Nursing Associate, working in partnership with the NHS or private sector, possibly a Nursing Student qualifying in the next year.

A post in Longleat Ward may be just right for you. We will provide a bespoke induction and training programme to support your professional development and career aspirations.

The Unit Provides Sub Acute Care, Rehabilitation and End of Life care for the residents of Wiltshire. This is an innovative unit with an integrated multi-disciplinary team.

Clinical leadership is provided by a team of Consultant Nurses across the organisation, supporting the Clinical team of Doctors, ACPs, Therapists, Nurses, Support workers and Health Care Assistants, ensuring Individual holistic care for the people we care for as well as support for their carers and families.

Ward Leadership is provided by the Senior Sister who has a strong belief in Compassionate Leadership. Supporting and Nurturing Staff to reach their full potential.

We provide the training, support, and professional development you need to become a confident, competent Registered Nurse. Delivering high standards of care within a Unit that you can be proud of.

Main duties of the job

You will have several opportunities and benefits. The starting salary for a Band 4 is £25,147 (£12.86ph). Working unsocial hours pays an additional 60% on Bank Holidays and Sundays (Total £20.58ph), and an additional 30% for Saturdays and unsocial other times (Total £16.72ph) You will be able to join the NHS pension scheme, plus get a generous annual leave allowance starting with approx. 6 weeks. Nurse Associate, Implementing and Evaluating Nursing Care. Supporting the nurse in charge and working with the medical and therapy teams, Supervising Junior staff, and students.

We are open to conversations around flexible working patterns and would consider day or night only contracts for the right candidate. As well as standard 7.5 hr shifts and long days.
