If so our Minor Injury Units are the place for you!
Wiltshire Health and Care have a variety of full and part-time Health Care Support Worker roles available within our two Minor Injury Units;
Our Minor Injury Units are based in Chippenham and Trowbridge, and treat approximately 2000 patients across the service per month, making a real difference, providing care closer to home and avoiding admission to hospital wherever possible and appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Wiltshire Health and Care is committed to the development of staff and a programme of support and development will be put in place, tailor for all new starters, to develop competencies, skills and knowledge, enabling progression on the career ladder.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team who pride themselves on their excellent team working and support of each other whilst treating a diverse range of conditions.
If you put patient care central to all you do and you have experience from working in an Emergency Department environment, have excellent wound care skills and are able to apply a variety of Plaster of Paris back slabs, or if you are keen to learn these skills, come for an orientation visit.
