We are looking for a experienced, motivated and dynamic clinician to work in pelvic health in the Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service within the Wiltshire Health & Care Partnership. You will be joining and supporting our flourishing musculoskeletal physiotherapy service. This post will be based in North and West Wiltshire.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills within musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pelvic health. The posts will require, excellent communication skills with a variety of people, conditions and within demanding situations. You will join a friendly team with other physiotherapy staff and ESP clinicians.

The successful candidate will possess a friendly, professional attitude to supplement their good MSK knowledge. We are looking for keen, interested persons who are flexible, adaptable and driven to develop both as people and responsible clinicians. As a senior physiotherapist you would be given responsibilities and training that reflect your current level of practice and then encouraged to manage a larger, more complex caseload.

Our service is well respected, and we have developed strong relationships with local GP practices, Orthopaedic and Rheumatology consultants, midwives as well as other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job

Patients are able to self-refer to our service and we have a growing number of First Contact Physiotherapists (FCP), within the GP practices, who also refer patients to us.

The MSK service for Wiltshire is based in 11 community departments and additional GP clinics with excellent links to our acute hospitals in Bath, Salisbury, and Swindon. Our departments are split into three localities; North (Chippenham, Malmesbury, Calne and Savernake), West (Melksham, Devizes, Trowbridge and Warminster), and South (Salisbury, Wilton and Amesbury). We receive MSK referrals from GPs, Orthopaedics, A&E, Rheumatology, Midwives and other Health Care Professionals. Alongside MSK Physiotherapy we deliver services in Hand Therapy, Rheumatology and Amputees. In addition, there is currently no on call rota or weekend working.
