Clinical Lead (Therapist)- Band 7
Calne, Corsham and Box Community Team
37.5 Hours per week - Permanent
Calne, Corsham and Box Community Team are seeking a Therapy Clinician with community experience who can clinically lead community services and the management of complex patient care in the community. You will be required to deputise for the Community Team Manager as well as work alongside a Nurse Clinical Lead. The post-holder will provide a high level of clinical assessment, individualised care planning and expert advice. You will also be expected to contribute to national and locally agreed targets of reduction in unnecessary hospital admissions and the facilitation of earlier discharges from the surrounding hospitals.
You would be expected to work in patients homes and community clinical settings in Calne, Corsham and Box and will typically work core shifts. The team is split across two sites, and you will be expected to manage your time equally across these.
The post requires you to undertake 3 funded modules at masters level; the post holder will be paid at Band 6 salary until they are completed and then will be moved to Band 7 salary.
Main duties of the job
Experience in front line NHS community services is essential as is evidence of up to date clinical professional development. Applicants need to have excellent clinical skills, well developed communication skills and be able to work under pressure. The role is demanding but rewarding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual who can work flexibly and efficiently. A car driver and to have access to a car is essential for this post.
