Wiltshire Health and Care are looking to appoint a Managing Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a community services provider with an ambitious team of clinicians and operational leaders. You will already have experience as a Board level director in the NHS and, have either direct experience of delivering community-based services or be able to show a thorough understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities. You will also be able to lead a multi-site organisation, spread over a large geography.
Wiltshire Health and Care is a unique partnership formed by three Foundation Trusts to deliver adult community health services across the county of Wiltshire and as such has different governance arrangements that need to be navigated with skill and diplomacy. You will also be a confident and able contributor in the wider integrated care system.
Main duties of the job
The key priorities for the role are to:
Continue to drive the transformation of community services in Wiltshire. This is an area of constant change and improvement. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to lead this, and ensure that new services and approaches in line with national and local requirements
Complete the transformation of our supporting infrastructure and realise is benefits. We have worked hard over the last few years to catch up after decades of under-investment in the supporting infrastructure for community services.
Prepare and lead the team for the next phase of change, related to any new approach to community services in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire from April 2024 onwards.
