Job summary

Administrator / Receptionist Band 2 

Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2023 full time 37.5 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist / Administration Support to join our Minor Injuries Unit within Chippenham Community Hospital.

You will join a friendly team who provides a variety of reception and administrative duties to assist the smooth running of the Community Hospital.

The successful candidate will support the patient flow and with daily admin functions across the Minor Injuries Unit which will include arriving patients and directing them to different services. You must demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Main duties of the job

A good standard of education is required, previous experience of working in an administrative / customer service setting and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be efficient and organised with your own workload.

The role is demanding and interesting and will require someone who is flexible and able to work under pressure and deal with a variety of tasks.
