Band - 8B

Contract type - Permanent, 37.5 Hours per week

Wiltshire Health and Care is an organisation, formed from a partnership of the three NHS Foundation Trusts who serve Wiltshire, Great Western Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, and Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. From 1st July 2016 Wiltshire Health and Care will provide adult community health services in Wiltshire. As part of the team, you will help deliver services to the Wiltshire Health and Care contract.

Department - Quality, Workforce and Development

Location - Chippenham Community Hospital OR Warminster Community Hospital [to be negotiated with the successful candidate]

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working at a Senior Human Resources / Learning and Development level with responsibility for providing a comprehensive service to defined departments/business unit/organisation
  • Experience and an understanding of working in an Human Resources function delivering services via a Business Partner model
  • Experience of managing organisational and cultural change including implementing new ways of working
  • Experience of leading and managing projects, with understanding of good project management principles
  • Experience of using management information to inform plans and decision making, for example, workforce planning
  • Experience of partnership working and engagement with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of report writing to a senior audience using information from a variety of sources to inform and influence decisions.
  • Working knowledge of Agenda for Change terms of conditions of employment
  • Demonstrable knowledge of up-to-date Human Resources / Organisational Development / Learning and Development practice and current trends of progressive practice
  • Knowledge of workforce planning systems and principles
  • Knowledge of learning and development principles
  • Knowledge of job evaluation systems and job matching
  • Demonstrable knowledge of employment legislation and its application

  • Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes, hold a full and valid driving licence.
