Melksham and BOA Community Team

Full and Part time Hours available - Permanent

Melksham & BOA Community Team is seeking a Community Staff Nurse 30 or 37.5 hours per week based at Melksham Community Hospital. Community Teams within Wiltshire Health & Care provide high quality, complex care in the community setting, which includes caring for some very vulnerable people often in extremely challenging environments.

Wiltshire Health & Care recognises that we need to deliver care closer to home, with the resources available, and be able to meet local needs.

Main duties of the job

Experience in front line NHS community patient care is essential as is evidence of up-to-date clinical professional development. Applicants need to have excellent clinical skills, well developed communication skills and be able to work under pressure. The role is demanding but rewarding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individuals who can work flexibly and efficiently.

Melksham Community Team is a busy Team caring for patients registered with a Melksham or BOA GP, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other members of the Multidisciplinary Team such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and other Specialist Practitioners. Our Shift patterns are 7-3, 8.30-4.30 and 2-10pm.
