Job summary
Breast Test Wales is looking for a highly motivated and competent part-time Welsh speaking Screening Pathway Administrator to join our team and play a vital part in a rewarding role.
You will provide comprehensive administrative support and excellent customer service within a busy, sensitive environment.
You must have previous administrative experience in a customer service environment and possess excellent communication skills. You must also demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines. The ability to work successfully as part of a team is essential for this role.
The post-holder will offer advice and assistance in a professional and sensitive manner to screening women and other parties and will be required to undertake reception duties at the Breast Screening Centre.
This is a busy role and attention to detail is essential, you will need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to maintain accuracy while dealing with many interruptions.
A working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Excel is required.
The ability to communicate fluently with participants, staff and service users in Welsh and English is essential for this post.
Main duties of the job
The effective delivery of all programmes managed by Breast Test Wales by ensuring the efficient operation of the call/recall Breast Screening System and failsafe functions, maintaining client records, changing appointments and liaising with internal and external contacts.
Dealing with phone calls from members of the public and other service users, processing change of appointments and dealing with general queries.
Processing screening and assessment clinic invitations and results.
Reception duties at screening, assessment and result clinics, providing face-to-face assistance to members of the public, visitors and deliveries.
