Job summary
Strategic Clinical Networks are an essential national vehicle for joint working between key stakeholders including NHS Wales, Welsh Government and the third sector to improve the outcomes and experience for the population of Wales. Integral to this is the need for continuous improvement and transformational change across a range of our services and approaches and the role of the Strategic Clinical Network is to support this at national, regional and local levels.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support the delivery of exciting projects of work within a National Strategic Clinical Network (NSCN) for Diabetes to support health boards/trust to improve the delivery of key health services across Wales.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Network Support Manager, Network Manager and National Network Clinical Lead, the Senior Project Support Officer will be responsible for supporting a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the success and effectiveness of the clinical network. Main duties include:
Provide general administrative support including minute takingSupport the maintenance, management and oversight of programme plans
Support the development and management of required documentation
Take responsibility for the management of defined areas of work within specific work streams
Support the management of budgets
Support stakeholder communications and engagement
Produce reports on progress for internal and external use
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
