Job summary

We're seeking a visionary Public Health Practitioner with a passion for policy and advocacy. Join us in the Policy and International Health, WHO CC Directorate in Public Health Wales, where we're revolutionising public health through innovative policies and powerful advocacy. We're a dynamic team committed to making a tangible impact to improve and protect health and wellbeing and reduce health inequities in Wales and beyond.

You'll be at the forefront of shaping public health policies and strategies, driving legislative change, and championing health equity. Your insights will influence national policies, and your advocacy will empower communities to achieve better health outcomes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Develop and implement forward-thinking public health policies.

Advocate for legislative changes to improve public health.

Collaborate with stakeholders to promote health equity.

Leading the development of strategic policy advocacy and implementation plans.

Conducting analysis to develop policy recommendations for Welsh Government and Policy makers in Wales
