Job summary
Cervical Screening Wales is responsible for the NHS Cervical Screening Programme in Wales, and aims to reduce the incidence of, and morbidity and mortality from, invasive cervical cancer.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as Administration Programme Support. The successful candidate will be based in one of the Screening offices across Wales (TBC).
The post holder will work as part of a dedicated team providing higher level administration support on an All-Wales level to the Clinical Lead and quality team within the programme. This includes all areas of secretarial, administration and organisational support as well as first point of contact for quality document control processes.
The candidate must have demonstrable personal secretarial experience, and must be able to work to tight deadlines, work within multi-disciplinary teams, understand and maintain quality systems, and understand the importance of Data Protection Act and confidentiality.

Main duties of the job
- Supporting Quality Coordinator and Clinical Lead in their all Wales lead responsibilities within the programme.
- Arranging and co-ordinating updates by the Quality Manual Review Group, document control and publishing of Quality Manual documentation.
- Maintaining centralised databases.
- Providing administrative support for failsafe work and collating outcomes.
- Providing high level secretarial support for the programme.
- Arranging meetings and providing secretarial support, including minute taking to key clinical and quality groups.
- Be responsible for maintaining and updating the CSW Professional site under the direction of the identified lead within the programme
- Plan, organise and provide comprehensive administrative support to meetings including preparing agendas, formatting and printing papers, taking formal and informal minutes/ action notes and distributing them as appropriate. Ensuring that follow up actions from meetings are undertaken.
- Book travel arrangements including train tickets and hotel accommodation
- Prepare, collate and present data obtained from Screening Quality Pathway surveys and audits
