Job summary

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 18 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Project Support Manager to support both Project and Programme Managers within the National Imaging Programme by managing elements of specific projects as delegated. The postholder will support the delivery of the 3-5-year vision for Imaging Services across Wales in line with the Statement of Intent for Imaging 2018 and the NHS Wales Diagnostic Transformation Strategy.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to work as part of a team. In addition, they will have had experience of administering projects and programmes. Experience of working in the NHS may be advantageous.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small but growing team based in the NHS Wales Executive offices in River House, Gwaelod-y-Garth, Cardiff, however currently home working is available.
