ASSISTANT PROGRAMME MANAGER - NATIONAL ENDOSCOPY PROGRAMME (NEP)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Programme Manager to join the National Endoscopy Programme to ensure the efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the Programme. We are looking for an applicant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who has the ability to work autonomously to support the administrative and operational management of the Programme.
The National Endoscopy Programme (NEP) was established in 2019 to drive sustainable improvements in endoscopy services, nationally directed by the Welsh Government. Its development followed the recognition of the pressures faced by endoscopy services in Wales.
The NEP Team is a busy, reactive and friendly environment that will suit an organised person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit.

Main duties of the job
The Assistant Programme Manager ensures the efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the NHS Wales Health Collaborative National Endoscopy Programme. The post holder ensures the effective process and mechanisms are in place to manage, update and report on operational and programme/project plans.
The post holder will work autonomously over administration and operational management of the programme but will report to the Programme Manager.
The post holder is responsible for the effective deployment and maintenance of systems and process to support the Programme's management and reporting of its action plan. The post holder will be expected to have detailed knowledge of administrative and business process and the ability to support multiple streams of work, whilst taking on responsibility for specific projects at the direction of the Programme Manager.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
