Job summary

National Strategic Clinical Networks (NSCN) are an essential national vehicle for joint working between key stakeholders including NHS Wales, Welsh Government and the third sector to improve the outcomes and experience for the population of Wales. Integral to this is the need for continuous improvement and transformational change across a range of our services and approaches and the role of the Strategic Clinical Network is to support this at national, regional and local levels.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support the administration and delivery of exciting projects of work within the National Strategic Clinical Network (NSCN) for Diabetes in supporting health boards/trusts to improve the delivery of key health services across Wales.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Diabetes Network Support Manager and core Network team, the Diabetes Network Administrator will be supporting a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the success and effectiveness of the NSCN for Diabetes. Main duties include:

  • Liaising and supporting the coordination of Network activity
  • Support the dissemination and coordination of resources
  • Providing general admin support
  • Organise and support the planning of meetings/events and taking minutes / notes.
  • Support the efficient delivery of a range of projects
  • Effectively communicating and liaising with staff, members of partner organisations, stakeholders and patients and public representatives.
  • Produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with Public Health

Working from home or from one of the NHS Executive offices can be.
