We are looking for a skilled and experienced product manager to help us develop registers including the cancer register and adult rare disease register. Main duties of the job
As a principal product manager, you'll be leading and managing a range of products. You'll working with teams across the organisation and beyond to negotiate between users and service owners, creating a pipeline of improvement that is manageable and makes a positive difference to the people of Wales.
This is a new role in Public Health Wales, so you'll have the opportunity to help define how our services and products are built and, to co-create the role to reflect our ambitions in digital and data capability. You'll get to define and create the approach to take, utilising user research and an awareness of the strategical long-term vision to develop new ways of working and build effective solutions to problems using the findings of the research.
This role will be collaborating closely with register teams, the digital services division and technical specialists across data analysis and engineering teams.You will be instrumental in the establishment of Agile and user-centred approaches, as well as the development of Public Health Wales's digital delivery professions.
You'll co-ordinate and deliver products in line with the Digital and Data Strategy and the organisation's long-term strategy.
You will be instrumental in the continuous delivery of a strong portfolio of registers and contribute to associated frameworks and standards across the NHS in Wales.
