THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS DUE TO FUNDING
This is an exciting opportunity to help Public Health Wales improve our public-facing digital content.
You will be part of our Digital Communications Team, learning from their expertise. You will work with our Data, Knowledge and Research Directorate to help us publish accessible, high-quality reports, data, visualisations, articles, and other digital content on our website. You will have the opportunity to help improve and standardise our look and feel, and make sure we follow good practice and meet required publication standards.
Although the main focus of the job will be on our public website, you will have an opportunity to work across a range of digital channels, including social media channels and our internal communications.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of our Digital Communications Team, learning from their expertise. You will work with our Data, Knowledge and Research Directorate to help us publish accessible, high-quality reports, data, visualisations, articles, and other digital content on our website. You will have the opportunity to help improve and standardise our look and feel, and make sure we follow good practice and meet required publication standards.
Although the main focus of the job will be on our public website, you will have an opportunity to work across a range of digital channels, including social media channels and our internal communications.
You will work with the Data, Knowledge and Research Directorate at an exciting time, as we create and deliver an ambitious public health data, research and evaluation strategy for Wales. We are working on a range of publication standards for data, statistics and research, and you will have the opportunity to help develop these and embed them in our work. You will work with analysts, data scientists, researchers and evaluators.
This post is a great opportunity for anyone wishing to develop their skills in web content design. The post currently has funding to the end of March 2024, which will be review at the end of the financial year.
