Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operations Quality team, Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, for a Quality Auditor.

The successful candidates will be joining the new CPSS quality audit team.

The successful candidate will be integral to providing communications including coaching bulletins and SWAY where themes and learning are required to share learning and improve or reinforce practices.

The base location will be confirmed on recruitment.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will produce audit reports evidencing quality assurance for our call answering in line with the IAED performance standards.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English.
  • Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) or Call Prioritisation Streaming System (CPSS) certification.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues in relation to learning and development
  • Evidence of undertaking additional skills training, willingness to be developed further.

Desirable

  • International Academies of Emergency Dispatch EMD-Q or CPSS-Q Qualification.
  • Mentoring qualification

  • Significant experience as an EMD or CPSS call handler.
