An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Business Leader within the Workforce & OD function to work closely with the wider team to deliver our People & Culture Strategy.

The People Business Leader will provide a comprehensive, professional and high quality people service to their nominated Directorate, developing the people capacity and capability to deliver their business plans, including robust and effective workforce planning.

As a Senior People professional, the People Business Leader is expected to be largely self-managing and will work autonomously to develop robust relationships within Directorates to influence, challenge and support service delivery and development of people strategies, providing leadership on all People related activities. Working in partnership with Trust Managers and Directors to provide professional customer-focused people advice, coaching and solutions that support the needs of the business.

Main duties of the job

The People Business Leader will liaise closely with the People Services Team to ensure partners are appraised of people agenda priorities within the Directorates that they support. Promoting a culture of engagement, equality, diversity and inclusion within their business areas.

The People Business Leader will provide a comprehensive, professional and high quality people service to their nominated Directorate(s). A key role in the management team, the People Business Leader will support the Directorate in developing the people capacity and capability to deliver their business plans, including robust and effective workforce planning.

Whilst there is funding for the role to be full time, we would be keen to hear from candidates looking for flexible working options. The base for this role is not fixed and can be a combination of home working and attending a Welsh Ambulance Service Trust base.
