Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Quality, Safety and Patient Experience Directorate, Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust, for a Putting Things Right Administrator. The post is part-time (28.5 hours per week week) on a permanent basis in our newly implemented structure. The base will be at either Matrix One - Swansea, Beacon House - Cwmbran or Ty Elwy - St Asaph, plus home working. To be confirmed on appointment.

Main duties of the job

Provide administrative support on specific projects within the Putting Things Right team, liaising directly with the Putting Things Right Coordinator.

Be the first point of contact in receiving and registering complaints from the public and any queries or requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.

Provide administrative support across all of the Putting Things Right functions, providing opportunities for the postholder to gain a wide knowledge and experience base.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential

  • NVQ level 3 in Business and Administration or equivalent qualification / experience. RSA Stage II typing / word processing qualifications or equivalent.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in an administrative environment, including co-ordinating diaries/rotas and allocating tasks, as well as dealing with complex queries.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a Health Service environment.
