Job summary
We are looking for Band 3 Hiring Officers to support the NLPSS hiring team during the busy period of trainee doctors' rotations.
The hiring team are responsible for hiring new starters onto ESR system for payroll purposes and entering pre-employment check details. You'll be part of a team responsible for keeping our ESR system accurate and up to date for some of the largest NHS Trusts in London.
Please note that the roles are based in Enfield, Civic Centre EN1 3ES. You will be expected to work full time in the office initially during training, and then moving to home working for 2 days per week (as per team leaders sign off). The interviews will take place at this site.
The post will be fixed term for 6 months. We are aiming for a start date of the beginning of June 2026 until the end of November 2026, subject to pre-employment clearances.

The post holder will provide a high quality, responsive, streamlined service to managers and employees within the trust which includes:
- Data Entry (Both numeric and non-numeric) into ESR system
- Ensuring that Managers and Employees are provided an accurate and quality service.
- Ensuring that all administrative KPI's are adhered to.
- Working within the policies and procedures, ensuring that audit requirements are met at all times and deadlines are strictly adhered to.
- Appropriate application of Data Protection rules.
