Job summary

We are looking for an inspiring, dynamic and experienced nurse to fulfil the role of practice educator.

Medicine consists of 9 acute inpatients wards, including specialties such as cardiology, respiratory, gastroenterology and general medicine. This role will also support our experts in our specialist services such and endoscopy, respiratory outpatients and cardiology day case and out patient areas including our cath labs. This is an exciting time as we are also expanding our general medicine footprint so the successful candiate will be invaluable in supporting the ward leadership teams in welcoming and upskilling new team members.

Main duties of the job

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way courses and education are delivered to new and existing staff, while working in partnership with the other care group practice educators and the muli-professional educators to improve acuity practice, clincal nursing and service delivery.
