Job summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to take the role of Senior Programme Manager for the Trusts Frontline Digitisation Programme. The successful candidate will demonstrate the proven ability to drive major digital transformation and strategic quality improvement, ideally in an acute NHS Trust.

Frontline Digitisation is a national change programme to enable locally led digital transformation. Falling under the remit of the NHS Transformation Directive, the goal is for NHS trusts to reach Level 5 on the HIMSS EMRAM digital maturity scale by March 2025. HIMSS is the internationally recognised Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and EMRAM is their Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the major digital transformation of a large NHS Acute Trust, bringing benefits to patients, staff, and the wider community.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Programme Manager will lead an effective and engaging communications strategy, clearly demonstrating the business benefits and outcomes of the Frontline Digitisation Programme. This will include responsibility for the development and maintenance of a clear digital maturity roadmap for the achievement of HIMMS EMRAM Level 5.

5. Provide proactive, visible, leadership of the Frontline Digitisation Programme for Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.

6. Plan, structure, and execute the programme, ensuring disruption to the business is minimized.

7. Develop and maintain programme documentation, including plans, highlight reports, board presentations, exception reports etc.
