- Provide a high quality, comprehensive, personal secretarial and administrative service
- Be the vital link between the Director and stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communications that support strategic initiatives.
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems before they arise.
- Play a key role in shaping the future of maternity and midwifery services.

Qualifications
Essential
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or an equivalent good standard of education at GNVQ or similar.
Experience
Essential
- Experience working in a PA /Secretary position.
- Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experienced in using Windows-based operating systems with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
- Comprehensive experience of using internet systems and MS Office or equivalent.
Desirable
- Two years experience of working within the NHS.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- Ability to organise.
- High level of computer literacy and knowledge of software packages.
- Diary management.
- Working under pressure, prioritising work, and meeting deadlines.
- Utilise a variety of advanced communication skills to communicate to a range of different audiences clearly and succinctly verbally, electronically and in writing.
- Proven customer care skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively in writing and orally, with a good telephone manner.
- Proven skills in minute-taking and clerking meetings.
