As the Senior Sleep Technologist you would be expected to read and interpret highly complex sleep investigations including polysomnography, polygraphy, oximetry, Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests, and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests.
Main duties of the job
You would be expected to deliver and communicate these results in a simple way, using developed interpersonal and communication skills, to patients and carers, explaining the implication of results and how they affect patient symptoms bearing in mind the impact on the person and their family, their future health, the impact on the NHS, and legal obligations.
